“Online Breakthroughs for Offline Businesses”
How to maximize your offline business profits . . . to “lay up for yourself treasures in heaven”

Dear Local Service Professional or Offline Entrepreneur,
Many other businesses are facing the scary prospect of difficult times ahead...
- consumer spending is way down, especially for “discretionary” expenditures...
- YellowPages response rates are dropping like a stone, as prospects ditch those heavy, cumbersome print directories for the convenience and speed of online searches...
- newspaper readership continues its steady decline; and so do the concomitant advertising results...
- TV ad spending is projected to decline 4.2% in 2009...
- most offline advertising is becoming less effective, as buyers are overwhelmed with more and more commercial messages...
Things are certainly looking pretty grim.
Fortunately...

The LORD knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. - Psalm 37:18-19 |

Some misled Christians misinterpret the Scriptures as saying that as long as they're Believers, God is somehow “obligated” to shower them with prosperity and wealth. However, this is a distorted over-simplification that disregards the universal “Law of Reaping & Sowing” and other important Biblical success principles.
Notwithstanding the out-of-the-ordinary times where God supernaturally blesses and provides... such as when He fed several million people with Manna from heaven every day for 40 years... or when the widow's jar of oil didn't run out... or when Jesus fed the five thousand with five loaves and two fishes...
... In His perfect Wisdom, God appears to reserve such miracles pretty well exclusively for times when (humanly speaking) we simply have no other options.
Good & Faithful Stewards...
No question, we continuously acknowledge our utter dependency on Jehovah Jireh - God our Provider. Yet God also expects us to be wise and faithful stewards of the Talents and resources which He has already entrusted to us, and placed at our disposal.
Yes, we still rely fully on God's blessings and providence.
But His ongoing blessings - which are all-too-easily overlooked, or even taken for granted - prevailingly manifest themselves through more “natural” forms... based on the universal success laws which God has instituted, including hard work and wise optimization of our resources.
I once heard some well-meaning Christian businessman claim he doesn't advertise, because he trusts God to provide new business for him. To me, that sounds kind of like a farmer saying he doesn't till the soil, nor sow any seed... because God will nonetheless bless him with a crop.
Sure, God is able to provide enough food for that family's table.
Yet I'm convinced this kind of limiting belief prevents many semi-successful Christians from ever experiencing God's primary purpose for blessing us with material riches: so we can in turn bless others, and to “lay up treasures in heaven”...
Investments With Eternal Value
Please note, I'm not claiming that God calls every Believer to automatic wealth. On the other hand, I also don't reject Biblical Truths just because some “Prosperity Teachers” preach unsound doctrine to “itching ears.”
If however, you feel the calling to invest your Talents to help further God's Kingdom... if you still harbor dormant potential... then perhaps this site can help you maximize the impact of your God-given Talents for Eternity.
In the Parables of the Talents (Matthew 25 & Luke 19), Jesus teaches that there's some kind of correlation between what we work for now, and the rewards we will receive upon His return. The Apostle Paul addresses it also...

Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw... It will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss... - 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 |

Count Your Blessings...
Among the many blessings we have already received, are the innumerable technological advances that make both our lives easier, and our businesses far more productive.
Still, few technologies can rival the impact that the Internet has had... In fact, there's absolutely zero question the Internet has dramatically transformed society... from the way people communicate... to how they find information... to the way they make purchasing decisions:
- 72.5% of Americans are now online (June 2008 statistics by Nielsen/Netratings)...
- online sales in the U.S. are projected to jump from $136.8 billion in 2008 to $142.4 billion for 2009 (eMarketer.com)...
- the Internet surpassed stores as the preferred way for many shoppers to purchase holiday gifts in 2008 (Retailer Daily)...
- consumers will spend 17% more time on e-commerce websites, compared to last year (Nielsen Consumer Insight)...
- consumers shop online to save time (88%); to locate hard-to-find items (84%); for more selection (83%); to avoid crowds (83%); to save money (80%) (Retailer Daily)...
I probably don't need to convince anyone that it's becoming ever more important to get your business online. Or that more and more of your prospects want to check you out online, before they're ready to call you.
Will You Be Left Behind?
When the automobile was first introduced, many traditionalists stubbornly resisted the new “horse-less carriage.” After all, they were dangerous... noisy... unreliable... and expensive.
Similarly, until recently most small business websites have been highly ineffective... unproductive... unprofitable... and over-priced.
Yet those businesses that can cost-effectively tap into the irreversible online trends can gain a major competitive advantage, and prosper. Those who don't adapt, will inevitably be left behind... just like those who refused to accept the automobile.
Here's today's harsh reality: If your local business doesn't yet have an online presence to market and promote yourself... to cost-effectively stay in contact with your clients... to adapt to the way consumers are now making purchasing decisions... to increase your client base...
Then you are jeopardizing everything you've worked so hard for. Can you really call that good stewardship?!
Of course, just getting a website won't accomplish a thing. In fact...
Over 97% Of All Websites Fail!
Far too many local service professionals and business owners get a website... and fail miserably... because they don't first get very clear answers to these critically important 3 questions:
- HOW will you get Quality Traffic to your website? (and at what cost?)
- HOW will your website convert that traffic into Customers & Clients?
- WHO will keep your website up-to-date, with the perpetually changing Internet? (and sustain your online traffic?)
Yet those visionaries who can successfully capitalize on this irreversible trend, can position themselves as unmistakable leaders in their industries and communities.

Despite all the “gloom and doom” news we hear, the Internet can still help create breakthroughs for your business... provided you can harness it successfully.
